They are the children of Ether Bowers and Marietta Pay. Ether is the son of Jacob Bowers and Caroline Goble. Jacob is the son of James Bowers and Maria Lay. BOWERS, Nathele King 1923 - 2014Nathele King Bowers, "Tellie", 91, passed away Friday morning, October 24, 2014. She had moved from Midvale, UT to Country Pines in Clinton, UT. She was born August 18, 1923 in Prescott, Arizona and has lived in Gilbert, Mesa, Chino Valley and Scottsdale, AZ. Her later years took her to Star, Idaho and then Midvale. She attended schools in Gilbert, Mesa, AZ, then at BYU and graduated from ASU. Nathele was well known for her musical abilities on the piano and organ as an accompanist. Likewise her sweet soprano voice was heard in so many musical productions as she was a classically trained artist. She taught 4th grade for 18 years in the Mesa School District. Singing and dancing, many Arizona 4th grade students participated in her Arizona History productions. Faithfully and happily, through her life, she served in some capacity in the ward and stake LDS auxiliaries. Working in the Mesa and Boise temples and then serving a mission in SLC at the age of 80 kept her young.She raised seven children, Andrea Nathele Child of Kuna, ID; Morgan Dale Bowers of Clinton, UT; Charlotte Ann Odale of Midvale, UT; Daniel Grant Bowers of Sandy, UT; Russell Wesley Bowers of Mesa, AZ; David Parley Bowers of Boise, ID and Steven King Bowers of Coolidge, AZ.She was preceded in death by her husband Wesley Raymond Bowers, parents Lottie Ethel Noble and Parley King, siblings Lorraine Isaccson and Noble King. Siblings Margie Dallabetta and Wayne Crandall are still living as are all her children, grand and great-grandchildren. Nathele will be buried next to her husband, Wes, in the Antimony Cemetery in Antimony, Utah on November 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. A celebration of life will follow at the Antimony LDS Church. He was born in Salt lake City, Utah to Raymond Cottrell and Elise Terry Bowers. He married Mary Jean (Jeanie) Larsen in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, August 9, 1974. She survives. He is also survived by three sons, Russell (Erin), Richard (Brittany) and John; his mother; seven siblings, Judy (James Dykman), Mark (Denise), Rebecca (Norman Bryce), Paul (Jamie) and Kevin (DeAnne), all of Salt Lake City; Terrie (Douglas Fisher), Fort Collins, Colorado and Lori (Kent Denney), Afton, Wyoming; in-laws Burton and Mary Larsen, Salt Lake City and sisters-in-law Patti (Joseph L.) Scott, Salt Lake City and Shari (Mark B.) Gibbons, Bountiful. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents: Louis J., Sr. and Alice Bowers and LeGrand and Clara Terry. He served in the Utah National Guard.
