One day I ran across a note on a genealogy record: "Family Bible in poss of Frank B. Bowers". Thanks to the website familysearch.org, I was able to make a connection through email with distant relatives in possession of the bible.
The Frank Bradley Bowers descendants have the bible and share it among themselves, rotate turns keeping it. The front cover has the name Hannibal O. Fullmer (1837-1909). He probably owned it, and, at some point in time, it was given to his sister Esther Fullmer (1857-1926). The bible contains information about John Shadrach Bowers and Esther Fullmer's family. There are several posts on this blog with the photos. They are labeled as, "Family Bible of Hannibal O. Fullmer".
A descendant of Frank Bradley Bowers, Mark Bowers, has been kind enough to share his time and talents as a photographer and took photos of the bible. A huge THANK YOU goes to Mark for helping to preserve and share this bible!
